Sections
Sections are optional. Use Assign section mode to apply a catalog section to elements. Dimensions use model length units. Editing an assigned section updates A and I on every assigned member; run the analysis again. Section changes preserve loads.

Choose Manual A / I in the Section column to enter area A and moment of inertia I directly, without a catalog section. Switching to manual keeps the current values editable. Truss elements use A only.

MPC constraints
u dependent = Σ coefficient · u master. Homogeneous constraints only. Axis helper coefficients remain fixed after geometry edits; recreate the MPC when needed.

Element loads
Force per unit member length. Linear: values at element ends 1 → 2; zero at one end gives a triangle. Editing geometry or properties removes element loads; toggling Mz releases preserves them. Undo restores the entire operation.
